Banana Pudding Cake

Made this stuff twice. Add sliced bananas on top of the banana pudding. Just as good the next day.

Looks so yummy. I love Bananas so I will enjoy this when I bake it.

My Sister will love it too especially when I bake it and she receives a few pieces to enjoy.

I was wanting to make banana pudding for an Easter dessert, It was fantastic!

Preparation time    15 minutes

Cooking time          25 minutes

Total                40 minutes

What do you need to make Banana Pudding Cake

Cake –                                                       

2 sticks butter, room tempurature                           

1 ¾ cups sugar                                                            

3 eggs + 2 eggs whites                                              

3 teaspoons vanilla 

3 cups flour                                                            

3 ½ teaspoons baking powder                          

1 box instant banana pudding                      

1 cup milk 

Frosting & Garnish – 

Cool whip and mini Nilla Wafers

Filling – 

1 box instant vanilla pudding

1 cup cool whip & 2-3 bananas, sliced    

Brush for Layers – 

¼ cup sweetened condensed milk

¼ cup milk 

How to make Banana Pudding Cake

FIRST STEP:

Preheat oven to 350 and prepare two 8” round pans with baking spray 

Cake – cream butter and sugar until light & fluffy then slowly add in eggs and whites

SECOND STEP:

Beat in vanilla and milk 

In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, and pudding mix

THIRD STEP:

Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until well combined 

Pour into pans and bake 20-25 minutes, cool 10 minutes then remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack

FOURTH STEP:

Filling – Mix filling ingredients and keep in refrigerator until ready to use 

Brush for Layers – Whisk together brush ingredients and set aside

FIFTH STEP:

Place one cake on platter and brush with ½ condensed milk mix 

Layer on sliced bananas and ½ the filling mix

SIXTH STEP:

Place second cake on top and repeat the layering process

EIGHTH STEP:

Frost with cool whip and garnish with mini nilla wafers
