A chicken Ranch casserole with pasta that is not only filling, it is one of the best comfort foods in the world.
On a busy weeknight, this is one of my favorite go to dishes, I know the kids love this one, hubby can’t get enough and it saves me so much time in the kitchen when I really do not have the time.
This Chicken Ranch Bake is the perfect dish to bring for potluck dinners, family dinners and even Holidays.

Can I substitute Turkey in place of the chicken?
That is a great idea and one that would taste phenomenal. I use Chicken because it just tastes so good with Ranch and pasta.
How do I store this dish?
Once the dish is cooled off, place it in an airtight container. It is able to stay in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Can I freeze this dish?
As long as it is in an airtight and freezer safe container, this Chicken Ranch Pasta can remain in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Can I use a different shape of pasta?
You could use any type of pasta, I prefer the penne pasta.
What do you need to make Chicken Ranch Bake
1 pound boneless chicken breast cut into 1 inch bites
10 ounces penne pasta
1 tbsp Ranch Seasoning powder
Sauce:
2 tbsp butter, salted
2 tsp garlic, freshly minced
½ tbsp flour
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp Ranch dressing mix
½ cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
1 pint heavy whipping cream
Additional toppings:
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, freshly shredded
Parsley, freshly chopped
How to make Chicken Ranch Bake
FIRST STEP:
Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and rinse
Spray a large skillet with non stick spray
Season the Chicken bites with Ranch seasoning
SECOND STEP:
Cook the chicken until is is completely cooked, no longer pink
Remove the chicken and set to the side
Wipe the skillet with a towel
Add butter to the skillet, add in the garlic and stir for 1 minute
Whisk in the flour with the Ranch seasoning
While continuously stirring, cook for 30 seconds
THIRD STEP:
Add in the heavy cream, stirring continuously for 1 minute, until the sauce begins to boil
Remove from the heat and add in the parmesan cheese, stirring until completely melted
Preheat the oven to 375*
Spoon in the chicken and the cooked pasta and stir together

Scoop into a baking dish and top with the Mozzarella cheese and the crumbled bacon
Place in the preheated oven
FOURTH STEP:
Bake for 20 minutes, until the cheese is hot and bubbling
Allow to set, and cool for 10 minutes before serving
