OMG !! I made this today and its a exact dupe. So yummy. Definite keeper.

The family loves Wendy’s chili so I thought I would give this a try, subbing in ground turkey for the beef. Great recipe!

I am absolutely in love with this Wendy’s chili and It will always be a keeper in my family.

What do you need to make Copycat Wendy’s Chili

2 lbs ground meat 

4 cups tomato juice 

3 ½ cups tomato puree 

1 can kidney beans 

1 can pinto beans 

1 onion, chopped 

½ cup celery, chopped 

¼ cup green bell pepper, chopped 

1 tablespoon chili powder 

1 teaspoon cumin 

1 teaspoon garlic powder 

Salt & pepper to taste 

½ teaspoon oregano 

½ teaspoon sugar 

¼ teaspoon cayenne 

How to make Copycat Wendy’s Chili

FIRST STEP:

In a large pot cook the ground meat with onion, celery, green pepper, and seasonings

SECOND STEP:

Stir in tomato juice and puree 

THIRD STEP:

Add in beans with juice and stir until well combined

FOURTH STEP:

Bring to a slow boil then reduce heat to simmer for about an hour

This recipe is a little bit of work but you get great authentic restaurant-quality taquitos. So much better than the ones you can buy frozen. I’ve made this twice now and do not stray at all from the recipe. It’s perfect as written.
