Creamy Pea Salad

Share or Save for Later

This creamy Pea Salad is the perfect alternate to the common Potato Salad. It is actually the perfect accompaniment to said potato salad.

This salad is one that many kids will go after versus common peas that are plain.

The creaminess, the cheese, the peas and the bacon combined with the diced red onion, give this Pea Salad the best combinations of flavors in one dish.

This dish does make it easy to vary the ingredients a little, but to change them too much is likely to change the taste of the Creamy Pea Salad drastically.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Is it better to use fresh cooked bacon or the bacon bits that are already made and bottled?

This depends on how much work you want to save yourself. The premade bacon bits are definitely much easier, however, the fresh cooked bacon will add so much more flavor to this Creamy Pea Salad.

How do I store this Creamy Pea Salad?

This dish should be stored in an airtight container and then placed in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

            Can I freeze this dish?

The consistency will likely not come out the same smooth and creamy texture. It would be best to not freeze this Creamy Pea Salad.
