Meatballs are one of my favorite multitasking recipes. They can be used for appetizers, easily, but they are also good as a main dish. You can serve them over rice, mashed potatoes, or with veggies or a salad.

You can also serve these crockpot cranberry meatballs on buns for easy meatball hoagies! One of my favorite things about these cranberry meatballs is that they are a little festive. We serve them a lot around the holidays.

There’s nothing better than an easy recipe that can be made at the beginning of the week and hang out in the refrigerator for easy meals that the kids can reheat all week long.

If you are looking for some other meatballs to try you can also enjoy these Crockpot Grape Jelly Meatballs, Swedish Meatballs in the Crockpot, or Crockpot Dr Pepper Meatballs. The entire recipe only calls for three ingredients. That’s right…just three! You can have this recipe throw together and cooking in literally no time at all. We will be using frozen meatballs, any type of bbq sauce, and jellied cranberry sauce.

You can use a spicy bbq sauce to add a little sweet and spicy kick to these meatballs or just use your regular brand that you keep on hand. I usually keep a few bags of the frozen meatballs from Walmart on hand, they also have turkey meatballs that they love!

Because all of these ingredients can be kept on hand pretty much indefinitely I know that I can whip up a batch of crockpot cranberry meatballs in no time!

How to make slow cooker cranberry meatballs:

Stir the two sauces together to combine.

Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.

Cover with the sauce and stir to combine everything well.

Cook on low 3-4 hours or until heated through. For a more glaze-like consistency, take the lid off during the last 30 minutes to an hour.

If desired, garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley or chives.

This recipe makes about 10 servings, it’s easy to prepare so it’s really nice to have a recipe like this on hand that serves a crowd, is inexpensive, and can be made without me monitoring the kitchen!
