Here’s what you’ll need to make Crockpot ham and cheese biscuits:
This recipe is so simple. Once you make it one time you’ll be making it again and again. We’ll be using simple ingredients that are easy to keep on hand!
You will need a can of refrigerator biscuits, some diced ham, green onions, heavy whipping cream, and shredded cheese. We use Monterey Jack cheese but you can use whatever kind of cheese you and your family like!

Also feel free to mix it up a bit. If you like spicy recipes add some jalapeños or chilies to the mix!
During the summer when produce is fresh from the garden I usually add some other fresh veggies to serve with these delicious biscuits when they come out of the slow cooker.
How to make slow cooker ham and cheese biscuits:
Spray 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray or use a liner for your Crockpot.
Separate biscuits and cut each into 6 pieces; place in a slow cooker.
Add ½ of the ham, the green onion whites and whipping cream; toss to coat.

Pour mixture over the biscuits in a slow cooker.
Sprinkle cheese and remaining ham over top. Leave a one-inch border so the cheese doesn’t touch the slow cooker insert and burn in the cooking process.
Cover top of insert with large kitchen towel and secure slow-cooker lid on top of towel. (This will prevent condensation from dripping onto biscuits during cooking.)

Cook on Low heat setting 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes. Insert the paring knife into the center of the casserole to test that biscuits are fully baked; the outer edge will be deep golden brown.
Sprinkle with green onion greens. Serve warm.
