Growing up I HATED Shepherds pie. Now I think that was just because of how my mom made it. I used this recipe tonight and fell in love!
Super easy recipe with a delicious outcome. Will definitely be making this again in the future!

What do you need to make Easy Shepherds Pie
1 – 8oz bag instant mashed potatoes, prepared
4 tablespoons butter
1 yellow onion, chopped
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
½ cup beef broth
1 lb ground meat
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish
How to make Easy Shepherds Pie
FIRST STEP:
Preheat oven to 350 and lightly spray a 9×9 baking dish with nonstick spray
Prepare mashed potatoes per package directions, set aside
SECOND STEP:
In a skillet cook the onions in butter until soft then add in ground meat and cook until done
Drain the meat then add salt & pepper, mixed veggies, broth, and worcestershire sauce then heat through

Spoon half of the meat mixture in the bottom of the dish
Next layer half of the mashed potatoes

Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until top is golden brown
Garnish with parsley, serve
