What do you need to make Famous Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi
1lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1½ cups white wine
½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1 tsp Italian herb seasoning
2 tbsp fresh parsley, thinly sliced
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
How to make Famous Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi
FIRST STEP:
Place a cast-iron skillet on medium heat and add the olive oil.
Into the skillet add the shrimp, Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper, cook for 3 minutes until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.

SECOND STEP:
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Place the skillet back on the stove and add the chopped garlic, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
THIRD STEP:
Pour the white wine into the pan and bring to a boil, reduce the wine by half.

Remove the skillet from the heat and gradually stir in the softened butter, mix continuously to form a thick smooth sauce.
FOURTH STEP:
Stir the cooked shrimp, fresh parsley and lemon juice into the pan, warm through and season to taste.
