Italian Drunken Noodles

Made this last night at 1.5x the quantity for a family dinner. Very good! Even the young grandchildren loved eating it!
 
So simple but so full of flavor! A new family favorite.

I wasn’t impressed when we had this. But after sitting in the frig overnight the leftovers were delicious.
 
This wa quick and easy, and also popular with the entire family.

What do you need to make Italian Drunken Noodles 

1 lb ground italian sausage

2 tablespoons olive oil 

Salt & pepper to taste 

1 teaspoon italian seasoning 

2 tablespoons parsley + more for garnish 

1 teaspoon basil 

1 red bell pepper, diced 

1 yellow bell pepper, diced 

1 orange bell pepper, diced 

1 green bell pepper, diced 

2 tablespoons roasted garlic paste 

½ cup white wine 

1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes, with juice 

12 oz egg noodles 

Parmesan cheese, for garnish 

How to make Italian Drunken Noodles

FIRST STEP:

In a large skillet heat olive oil and stir in sausage and bell peppers and cook until sausage is done

SECOND STEP:

Stir in garlic and seasonings

Stir in wine and tomatoes

THIRD STEP:

Simmer 10-15 minutes until sauce reduces some

FOURTH STEP:

Cook noodles per package directions, drain, add to sauce and stir
