It is almost that time of year again. Fudge will be made, there will be so many different flavors of fudge available. There is nothing that could ever exactly match the old fashioned fudge.

However, this is a recipe that is as close as you will ever come to the Old Fashioned.  This recipe comes out super creamy and delicious.

There are only three ingredients when it comes to making this fudge. No need to dig out the candy thermometer and spend forever, standing in front of the stove. Honestly, you are going to be able to use your microwave to make this fudge.

You will find that the recipe and directions are so easy that you can make almost any type of fudge you want this way.

You could definitely do so. You could use crushed peanuts, walnuts or even pecans.

Storage is actually quite simple for this fudge. You can keep it covered on the counter for up to 2 weeks, if kept covered in the refrigerator it will last for at least one month.

            Can I freeze this fudge?

You can definitely freeze this fudge. If doing so, wrap it in plastic wrap first, then wrap it in aluminum foil. The fudge will last for over a year.

What do you need to make Peanut Butter Microwave Fudge

            8 ounces butter, unsalted

            1 cup creamy peanut butter

            1 pound Confectioners sugar

How to make Peanut Butter Microwave Fudge

FIRST STEP:

Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper. Be sure to use enough parchment paper so it goes up each side of the pan.

In a microwave safe bowl, put the butter and peanut butter together, Microwave for 1 minute, stir to make smooth.

Microwave for another minute and stir again.

SECOND STEP:

Stir in the Confectioners Sugar, the mix will be thick and paste like.

Spread the mix into the lined pan and use a piece of parchment to press down to make the fudge smooth out to an even layer.

Refrigerate for at least two hours to allow the fudge to set.

THIRD STEP:

Using the parchment paper to lift the fudge out of the pan.

Cut the fudge into 1 inch squares before serving.
