Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla

This was such a winner! So so good and will be made again many times in our homes.

Tried it this morning for lunch and it was delicious!!!! 10/10 would recommend.

What do you need to make Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla 

2 ½ teaspoons vegetable oil, divided 

½ onion, sliced 

½ green bell pepper, sliced 

2 white mushrooms, sliced & divided 

4 8” flour tortillas 

¼ lb roast beef, cooked and shredded 

4 slices provolone cheese, slices 

 

How to make Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla 

FIRST STEP:

Sauté onion, green peppers, mushrooms in oil until soft – remove from skillet

SECOND STEP:

In same skillet heat tortilla and on half layer on cheese, roast beef, and onion mixture

THIRD STEP:

Fold the tortilla in half and brown on both sides

FOURTH STEP:

Cut into quarters, serve

This recipe is a little bit of work but you get great authentic restaurant-quality taquitos. So much better than the ones you can buy frozen. I’ve made this twice now and do not stray at all from the recipe. It’s perfect as written.
