Making a cooked pudding is really easy thanks to the Crockpot! My crockpot pumpkin pudding recipe is great for the holidays. It’s an easy recipe that doesn’t have to take up space in the busy oven!

We have a wall oven that is on the smaller side so we can’t always put things in there when we’re cooking a ham or a turkey or another big item. That’s why I love making recipes like corn casserole, sweet potatoes, and green bean casserole in the slow cookers!

In our house, it’s easy to find enough slow cookers to make multiple side dishes and desserts while the main dishes are cooking on the stovetop or in the oven. If you are looking for more Crockpots you can check out this one, it’s great and the perfect size for any recipe you can imagine!

We also use these crockpot liners when we are making particularly messy recipes, like lasagna or spaghetti that might stick to the sides! They’re also really useful when making things like crockpot cherry pie!

Here’s what you’ll need to make pumpkin pie pudding in the Crockpot:

This really simple recipe uses pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, biscuit baking mix, eggs, butter, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and whipped cream.

A spoon full of pudding ready to be enjoyed.

You can also include ice cream on your shopping list as a scoop of vanilla goes great with this warm pumpkin pie pudding!

The good news is that this recipe comes together really quickly. You’ll see below that there’s only a few steps to make this pumpkin pudding, it’s a party favorite for us since it’s super simple and tasty!

How to make my pumpkin pudding recipe:

There are only two steps to making the easiest pumpkin pie pudding in the slow cooker.

First, you’ll combine all the ingredients and put them into a greased slow cooker, 3 quart sized is perfect unless you’d like to double the recipe!

Next, cover with the lid and cook on low temperature until the pumpkin pudding recipe reaches 160° F.

The whole process should take about 6-7 hours on low. Cooking this recipe on high doesn’t really work because it will burn on the outer edges before it sets in the middle so make sure to plan ahead and give yourself the time to make this one work.
