



















Sausage and Rice Skillet
Ingredients
- 6 Italian Sausages
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small sweet onion - diced
- 2 tablespoon garlic
- 1 1/2 cup of instant white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup yellow pepper - diced
- 1/2 cup red pepper - diced
- 3 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
Instructions
FIRST STEP:
In Large skillet add olive oil and sausage and saute for 10-12 minutes over medium heat or until sausage is cooked through.
Remove Sausage and set aside ( slice when sausage has cooled into small pieces)
SECOND STEP:
Add Onions, garlic, peppers, salt and pepper and everything bagel seasoning and saute for 6-8 minutes
Add rice, chicken broth, cut sausage and soy sauce mix together and cook covered for 5-10 minutes or until rice is done, all liquid should be absorbed
Serve with a side of salad or some fresh bread
