Add ½ of the sausage and the Italian seasoning to the bowl of biscuit pieces. Toss until well mixed.

Place biscuit mixture as evenly as possible in the bottom of the slow-cooker insert. Spread pizza sauce evenly over top of biscuits. Also spread a layer of sauce between the insert and the biscuits.

Sprinkle 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese and the remaining half of sausage over top. Try to keep cheese away from touching the sides of the insert.

Cover the top of the insert with a large paper towel. Place a slow-cooker lid on top of a paper towel.

A bowl full of the finished pizza ready to be served.

This will prevent condensation from dripping onto biscuits during cooking. Cook on High heat setting 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hour or until biscuits are golden brown.

Serve warm.
