What you’ll need to make slow cooker tacos:

To make these delicious tacos with pork we’ll be using a pork roast. About 4 pounds will serve between 8 and 12 people or leave you with some leftovers that go great on salads, burritos, etc throughout the week.

We will also need some onion, water, cumin, pepper, salt, and cajun spice! That’s it! This recipe is super simple. It takes a relatively inexpensive cut of meat and turns it into a delicious dinner everyone will devour.

Here’s how to make these delicious tacos with your slow cooker:

Let’s clear something up. We’re cooking the meat for these delicious tacos in the slow cooker. Everything else will be built just like a regular taco!

We’ll cook the meat in the Crockpot and then we’ll top these tasty tacos with all the fixings you’d normally find.

Let’s get into it! This simple recipe takes a few minutes to put together and then it can cook all day while you work, take care of kids, or lounge by the pool. Either way, at the end of the day you’ll have a delicious dinner ready to go!

Cut pork roast in a criss cross fashion. Rub spices into the crevices.

Place pork in the slow cooker along with water and onion.

Cook on low for 8 hours.

Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with fork. Serve on flour tortillas with taco fixings.

Can I make these slow cooker tacos gluten free or keto?

This recipe is so versatile. You can make this slow cooker pork and then use whatever tortillas, wraps, or base you like.

If you are watching carbs for Keto you can use carb smart tortillas or use a bed of greens for your taco base.

For those of you on a gluten free diet you can use corn tortillas for your base or use gluten free flour tortillas.
