Buffalo chicken in a crockpot
If I caught your attention at buffalo chicken, you’re going to love this recipe! It features buffalo chicken in a crockpot thrown in a lettuce wrap and topped with blue cheese dressing.
Personally, I enjoy lots of extra buffalo sauce with these!! It’s so good!!
These lettuce wraps really shouldn’t be as good as they are. You will be rushing back for more after the first plate, guaranteed. These are so full of flavor, juicy, and delicious.

Oh, and did I mention it’s a relatively easy recipe? Toss everything in the crockpot, shred the chicken, mix up the dressing, and throw it all in a lettuce wrap. So simple!!
This just might be making regular appearances in your house from here on out! Scroll down below for the full step by step recipe.
Can I just use hot sauce instead?
Yes, but no. While buffalo sauce and hot sauce are very similar, the tastes and texture are different. You may not get the same result if you opt for straight hot sauce!
You can, however, make your own buffalo sauce if you’d like by adding butter and some spices.
What is the best lettuce to use for lettuce wraps?
I used bibb lettuce for this recipe but you can also use iceberg, green leaf, swiss chard, and romaine lettuce. I’m not sure I can call any of these the best as there is a benefit to using each of them!

What do you serve with these buffalo chicken lettuce wraps?
These are amazing all by themselves!! Seriously, you don’t need anything at all. If you really want something alongside your chicken lettuce wrap, however, you can cook up some white or cauliflower rice. It makes a great addition!
